Privacy Policy
How Mitch.ag handles account, farm, operational, billing, support, analytics, and AI interaction data.
Information we collect
Mitch.ag may collect account details (name, email, and profile information), business and team membership details, farm and paddock records including addresses and mapped boundaries or coordinates, livestock records including mob and animal records, visual, electronic, and NLIS identifiers, weights, and movement and lifecycle history, task, timesheet, and time entry records, inventory, purchase, batch, treatment, spray and compliance, machinery, and fuel records, notification records, billing status and subscription identifiers, device and browser information, support messages, AI interaction data, analytics data, and cookie-related information.
How information is used
We use information to provide the app, protect accounts, support farm workflows, process billing through payment providers, improve reliability, provide support, and improve product quality.
Farm and business data
Farm records remain operational data supplied by users and their teams. Public marketing pages do not expose private farm data.
Service providers we use
Mitch.ag uses third-party service providers to deliver the product: Stripe (subscription billing and payment processing), Resend (transactional email such as team invitations and notifications), Supabase (data platform and hosting), Optiweigh (livestock weight data import, where a business connects it), Google Weather (weather forecasts for a farm location), and a third-party AI provider (Ask Mitch responses, pasture photo assessment, and knowledge document indexing). Information is shared with each provider only to perform that function.
Device permissions and on-device storage
With permission, the app may use your device location on demand to centre a map or record a coordinate for a paddock or observation; it does not track location in the background. The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to attach or capture a photo, such as an animal, tag, machinery, or pasture image. On mobile, a push notification token and platform may be stored to deliver notifications. To work in low-connectivity paddock conditions, the app stores farm records and unsent drafts locally on the device; local data for a business is removed when a user signs out of that account on the device.
AI interaction data
Ask Mitch interactions may be logged for support, safety review, quality improvement, and troubleshooting while sensitive data is handled with reasonable safeguards. Content sent to AI features is processed by a third-party AI provider. This includes Ask Mitch questions together with relevant farm records, pasture photos submitted for assessment, and documents uploaded to the knowledge base.
Retention and deletion
Data may be retained while an account is active and for reasonable operational, legal, billing, backup, and security periods. An individual user account can be deleted from the Account page in the app, or through the support process. Certain organization-owned operational records — including farm, paddock, livestock, task, timesheet, and compliance records — may be retained by the business after an individual user account is deleted, because they are shared business and regulatory records of that organization rather than records of one person.
